Who am I?

About

I have always had love for computers. Being able to write code to solve real world problems is something that always brings me utmost satisfaction. Started programming from a really young age and have been able to master the craft years later on. Always challenging myself to code/write something that will make the day to day repetitive tasks easier. If there is a technical problem that requires a solution, i strive to come up with a solution via code and share it with the world.You can view some of the projects

If am not at my workstation coding, you will find me delving in the world of music. Playing classical guitar 🎸 is also my thing. It's not just a hobby, it's a harmonious escape that adds a symphonic touch to the coding life.

Experience

  1. 2020 — Present

    Design and maintain the scalable backend services behind a multi-tenant core banking platform serving microfinance institutions and SACCOs across East Africa, keeping mission-critical financial operations highly available. Led the migration of a legacy monolith to microservices — owning authentication, authorization, auditing and logging across distributed services — and engineered a high-throughput RabbitMQ pipeline that reliably distributes thousands of background tasks. Built a custom OIDC identity and authentication server from scratch (API key rotation, secrets management and password-lifecycle policies), and own the third-party integration gateway that onboards external and cross-border financial institutions. Also architected the internal multi-tenant administration dashboard and delivered GraphQL APIs with React analytics interfaces that turn raw integration data into actionable insight.
